How To Boost Your Search Listing with a Free Google Marketing Kit

Is your business listed on Google Search and Maps? If so, you would have a Google My Business profile and today I'd like to share with you a free marketing tool powered by Google that is connected to your business profile. It's called Google Marketing Kit and it can boost your Google presence and direct your customers' attention to your profile both online and in-store.
You'll find details on this toolkit below, but first a few points worth mentioning on the Google My Business Profile. ​

• Google My Business is a free Business Profile lets you connect with customers across Google Search and Maps. • One of the most important features of the Google My Business listing is, in my opinion, the Insights section. Your account gives you a great analysis of how many people connect with you on Google and the ways they do that. This data can be quite important in adjusting your marketing efforts month by month as you can keep an eye on number of calls per month, where your enquiries come from geographically and what keywords people use to search for your kind of business.

Free Google Marketing Kit
The Google My Business Marketing Kit  lets you create free posters, social posts, window stickers and signs that you can display at your store, in your practice or front service area or share digitally through your social presence.

Because of COVID-19, Google added printable posters and digital social post templates that focus on business updates. These items can help you communicate changes about your business, but the resources in the marketing kit don't need to necessarily relate to COVID-19.

Eligibility:

• Your business profile must be Verified on Google. If it's not, here is a guide on how to verify it.
• Your business is not one of the following restricted categories: RV Park (Travel), ATM, Cemetery, Church, City Hall, Courthouse, Fire Station, Hindu Temple, Local government office, Mosque, Police, School, Synagogue, or University

How does it work?

To access the Google Marketing Kit, you go to this website: https://marketingkit.withgoogle.com/
Here you will need to enter your business name and, if verified, Google will find your Business Profile and populate the kit with the data in your listing.

Before you get started, scroll down the website and choose a style for your posters and social posts.
Google will populate the social posts and posters with your existing reviews or info on your Google Business Profile or you can choose from a variety of available messages.

Note: You can select your background style from the existing ones or the message that shows up on the posters, social media posts etc., you cannot add your own background or your own custom message. You can though customise colours, font style and choose specific reviews from your profile that you want to be showcased on all materials.

What will you get in your customised marketing kit?
You can either download the entire kit for your business, or you can download only what you need. Here is what is included:

• Printable products: posters, signs, stickers directing to your Google profile,  business cards with a link and QR code to your business listing.

You will basically download print-ready files that you can print everything at home or have them professionally printed. 

There are a few types of messages available to choose for your printed materials:
